Although the CCIM Excellence Awards has come and gone, we are still seeing plenty of praise for the winners accomplishments of this years awards. I walked by the conference room one day this week, and saw part of our marketing blitz happening for our newest listing; an industrial building near downtown Salt Lake City. This is the second building we have listed in the downtown area in the same number of months. The first one went under contract in 5 short weeks!

I've enjoyed being President of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors ("SIOR") this year. It's been fun meeting other chapter leaders from all over the country and all over the world as we've met at semi annual world conferences.
This year marks the 75th Anniversary of the SIOR organization and we've been celebrating the anniversary with a tour of chapters with the SIOR Torch. We had our chance to host the torch on its relay across the US, Europe, Mexico and Canada.
Chris Kirk got a May day skiing with the torch at Snowbird and I had a chance to take the torch to new heights. (see photo)
It'll be fun to see the torch arrive in New York City to fanfare and celebration at the Fall World Conference in October. Happy Anniversary SIOR!!
