Real Estate and Advancing Womens Careers

by

Being a woman in the workplace, I know first hand the different obstacles we face to advance in a male oriented world. We have proved how valuable we are in all aspects of a business time and again even with the still very current gender bias we have in the workplace. Women are amazing leaders, influencers, and can overcome limitations with a little talent and smarts.

I linked a great article from the Entrepreneur, where the author explains how real estate can advance women's careers and how is supports many women's dreams of being a champ! Perfect timing as the CREW gala is tonight! Crew is dedicated the advancement of commercial real estate women. Their mission is "Influencing the success of the commercial real estate industry by advancing the achievements of women". Great opportunity for women in real estate to network and mentor! I have also included their info below!

New Tacos in the Hood!

by

We are very excited to announce a great new taco restaurant opening just up the street from our office. We are extremely excited about this particular restaurant, because it's owners are none other than IPG's fearless leaders Michael and Jeremy!

Welcome to Utah Chronic Tacos!

Michael and Jeremy have been working tirelessly over the last 6+ months to bring this franchise to Utah. The restaurant is officially open, be sure to keep an eye out for the official Grand Opening party sometime next month. Personally, I recommend the Chronic Fries for a guilty late night fix (think nachos in fry form).

Utah’s Manufacturing Industry has Competitive Advantages

As a state, Utah is a hub to the major western cities and states, as well as a central point for distribution between the Canada and Mexico borders.  Salt Lake City is the first location in the United States where the three major rail lines leaving Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles ports meet.  Two major interstates, I-80 and I-15, cross in Salt Lake City.

Utah has a wealth of education resources, ranking 3rd in the nation in population growth, and is the youngest state in the nation.*

The state has a very pro-business climate and companies benefit from energy costs that are 26% below the national average and third lowest in the U.S.  Utah is ranked 1st in the nation as Best States for Business, and 5th in Business Costs.**
