AMAZON ANNOUNCES A DEAL WITH US POST OFFICE

by

It may seem like we have a fascination with Amazon and more specifically their distribution model as it relates to industrial real estate nationwide… This is our third post this year about the massive online retailer. The fact is, Amazon is impacting commercial real estate in a big way right now.

I ended my August 28th blog post with “And who knows, maybe the US Postal Service would make an interesting acquisition for the logistics giant.” Well Amazon hasn’t acquired the US Post office, but they have cut a deal! Just when you thought you would be seeing less of the US Post Office at your door on the weekends, Amazon cut a deal to have them visit your home on Sundays.

The Molcajete!

by

One of our favorite places for mexican food at IPG is Rancho Market. I love the tacos de pollo (chicken tacos) with the avacado, salsa verde, and lime and that is what I almost always get. But, on occasion, when there is at least 3 of us, we spring for the Molcajete. The presentation is pretty amazing. See for yourself, below are a couple photos of our last Molcajete encounter, this time we enjoyed the dish with, Wynn Clayton from 3form.

So, the next time you need commercial real estate in Utah OR a great mexican meal, give us a call!

IPG Supports Public Safety!

by

Every so often we get a chance to make the community stronger with our expertise in industrial real estate. Company owner Clint Trickett (sounds like a country music star!) of Premier Vehicle Installation recently came to us looking for additional space to accommodate the increase in demand for up fitting law enforcement vehicles in the state of Utah.  If you follow the blog, then you already know I am a car guy, and being in Clint’s shop full of high performance vehicles is about as good as it gets for me.  With the past recession most public sector auto pools have delayed replacement as long as they could, and that includes the majority of law enforcement cars and trucks.  With all that backlog Clint is very busy!  We are so happy to have been able to help provide the space Premier Vehicle Installation needed in a timely manner, and for such a worthwhile cause as keeping our community safe.  Best of luck with the new space!

The Nations Only SIOR Bobsled Team

by

Michael and Jeremy joined fellow Utah SIORs in a fun day up at the Utah Olympic Park last week. Led by a professional pilot, they teamed up into groups of three and rode the entire length of the Utah Olympic Park Bobsled Track (the real track used during the 2002 Winter Olympics).  In less than a mile, they ripped through 15 turns, hitting speeds up to 74 mph.
